Hello hello.

First off, bit of news, got a good friend of mine I've commissioned to do some of the art for the upcoming steam page. Also been setting that page up to make it all pretty for when it's ready to go, I'll quickly overview some plans there.

• The game will be there as an invited playtest, which I'll try to configure to just give access as soon as you hit the button.
• The game will cost money on steam, but not really. There'll be a downloadable demo that is literally the exact same, no differences, and a notice on the steam page that you can also just download the game on itch if you want to do it that way. The only reason I'm going to mark it as costing money (which I'll probably put to £6.99 for the comedy of the number) is literally just to segregate the game from the "free to play" list. Honestly if for some fuck ass reason someone wants the "full" version, you could also just ask me for a key here and I'd just send it (once per person, can't be bothered doing it super often).
• The steam page is pretty much built at the moment, I'm just waiting on art, really.

Two Options For Next Patch

I'm currently working on the "boss" for the next patch, i.e. the secret boss that shows up if you finish a run as well as complete some secret stuff. It's going pretty well, all things considered, but this next patch might be a bit of time away, that's for sure.

However, I did also consider, in the meantime, diverting a bit of attention to see if I can leverage steam servers to maybe hold replay data, or if I can't do that finding some way to hold replay information without genuinely trolling myself to pay a monthly fee for the rest of time. I'll see about it, but that's a pretty big contender.

Summary is, the next patch will either be:

1) Replay system

2) The boss.

Both will take a bit of time, so enjoy the current patch, and report anything you find anyway you have me added.
